It’s a little hard for me to stop writing about this guy’s work. Also, Doug is nice… This is the bag I have. I fear I am going to become a collector. I have multiple pieces by very few artists, but this work is built to last. Doug Johnston sews cotton cord into fantastic three-dimensional shapes. At the small end, it’s a vessel or bag. At the bigger end, it’s room-defying sculpture.
